MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!

Hey all, sorry for not keeping up with often updates, I am still new in the Machinima community and have been hard at work on several new productions while still picking up some more skills thanks to tutorials.

At the last second I pushed aside the two music videos and 3-Part mini movies series I've been hard at work on to do a very special WoW Christmas Special, a WoW Retelling of Dr. Seuss's classic "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."

The Machinima community has come together to help me with this project so look forward to seeing a lot of your favorite Machinima Directors and their characters in the production like Puff and Lilpuff from Myndflame, Drewbie and Macheath form Oblivious Films, Vlada and Golaith from "You Crash Ship", Guy and Ellers from Chronicles of the Annoying Quest and many MANY more!

I am aiming to put the video out on Christmas Day so keep an eye open for my next production coming out in the next couple days!

FEATURED FILM!

I am completely beside myself... I am in shock and dismay and overflowing with sheer joy and happiness. So there I am chatting with friends on vent about the fun times that have passed and what future plans we have for our gaming experiences and while chatting with them I was surfing some websites.

Earlier I had heard a song that I really wanted to find and I remembered one of my favorite Machinimators, MacHeath from Oblivious Films, had featured the song in one of his videos. So I scurried over to Oblivious Films website, watched the video and found out the name of the song and suddenly I wondered if the crew of Oblivious was still active on their forums. So I clicked into the forums and was shocked at the very first thing I find........

Quote: "I'm Too Pally" by Teagen the Rogue - Drewbie

Drewbie: "Figured I'd give this one it's own thread. This is apparently Teagen's first machinima ever and he does a pretty decent job. The reason it's here rather than the random WoW videos thread though is that he put in many familiar characters from popular machinima, including quite a few characters from "The Grind". Check it out."

I told my friends how happy I was that Drewbie had enjoyed my production as well as seen it when another friend, Sin, told me my film was FEATURED on Machinima.com!! It had a five star rating and over 1700 views!! I couldn't contain myself. I text all my friends to tell them the incredible news despite it being 5am, I'm sorry guys! XD

I am filled with such incredible desire to push forward even faster now and really lunge deep into the field and show what I can really do but I still need to finish my tutorials and learn a few more tricks of the trade. Soon guys, I'll be there in time but I am gonna continue my steady pace and just keep my hopes high. I really love doing this.

Thank you Drewbie and the people at Machinima.com for featuring my film. Your praise and recognition means a lot to me. -bow-

At Long Last!

Finally, after a year and a half of researching and playing around with programs and learning on the fly from both practice and tutorials, my first ever Machinima is out! I'm Too Pally was created as a fun little project in name of my friend Candace and Rob's characters, Golaith nd Vlada, from a radio drama they did over a year ago.

I had a lot of fun with this project, it took me a month but that was because from the moment I started editing I had to learn everything as I went along. Sometimes it took entire days just researching and practicing with little tricks and effects just to get it right.

The end of I'm Too Pally was the hardest part, where virtually every frame is animated or blue-screened. Making the characters look like they are coming right at the camera or even getting the movement and time down was very difficult.

I know it could have been more flashy and animated but I love the in-game engine and I personally like to make great use of it since not many seem to. That is just my preference though, I like to give people that connection to the game.

I received a call from Candace (the voice of Vlada, Golaith’s wife) the day after I’m Too Pally came out while I was playing on WoW with some buddies and I was completely taken by surprise when she told me to look at WeGame and see the recent posts. When I went to look I was stunned in awe. One of my favorite Machinimators, and one of the best, had posted a reply. Mr. Oxhorn himself!

I was so excited and so honored that he had accepted me placing his characters in the video as a tribute to him. There are many other characters from various Machinima whom I still watch today or inspired me a year ago to do what I have finally started to do. I really do owe a big thank you to Oxhorn, Myndflame, Baron Soosdon, Martin Flach, Oblivious Films and so many more. Without their inspiration I wouldn't have picked this up at all.

I've uploaded "I'm Too Pally" to a couple more locations as well. Here are some links where you can find it.

The Beginning at Last!

Hey everyone, thanks for visiting my Blog and tuning in to this lil' Rogue's adventures as I finally make my climb into the open world. I have officially climbed out of my hidey-hole and started production on not only my Machinima works but also my Podcasts as well as my art and animation.

I'm basically learning everything I do as I go along but with the support of my friends in the many fields at my side encouraging me along I hope to be bringing many of my works for all of your viewing pleasure in the near future.

So some of you might be wondering a bit about me and who I am. For those of you reading who know who I am and what I do well--hello! For the friends of those friends or just complete random strangers I am (I am going to sound egoistical here, forgive) a great creator!

I hope to be a screenplay writer for several movies and a TV series I am working on at the moment but I am also working towards being a Novelist, an Artist and a Voice Actor. Quite a bit it would seem, eh? I really love to create and through my work I love to inspire and dazzle.

Oh! but back to what I was saying earlier, I am officially starting work on several Machinima as well as my first ever Podcast which will be called "Vault" which will be a World of Warcraft themed podcast. I plan to do another Podcast at a later date but I'll tell you more about that one later.

I am a big time supporter of The Geek Media and I am hoping to join as an affiliate of their's where you'll be able to get regular updates for my Podcast. Eventually I hope to be going to many conventions as well and set up a booth on their behalf and meet with many of my friends and perhaps future community supports.

Anyways, back to working on my productions! I look forward to showing you all my first ever Machinima "Too Pally" and Podcast "Vault".

See you all again soon!
